Most of what I do is related to music in one way or another, except for my studies and my part-time job. When not creating and playing music myself, I listen to music. Twentyfour-seven. Drives my wife nuts. I've always been into alternative music, starting with punk rock back in the eighties, working my way into the goth and industrial areas during the nineties. I like to entertain the neighbours with Swans, Dead Kennedys, Ministry, Christian Death, Skinny Puppy, Fear Factory, The Sisters of Mercy, Fields of the Nephilim, New Model Army, Bauhaus, NIN, Killing Joke, Godflesh, Foetus, Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave, KMFDM and so on.

I now live in the city of Falun, after having to leave my beloved Uppsala due to my girlfriend finishing her studies and getting a job here. I am running my own software development company, working from home is great since it gives you the ability to listen to great music all day long! When i lived in Uppsala i was the driving force behind the local Synth/Goth club, where i am also a resident DJ. I am currently trying to get the scene going here in Falun, and will hopefully reside in a DJ both here this fall. I like music that you can dance to, so my main preferences are bands like VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, Neuroticfish etc. This doesn't prevent me from listening to other stuff as my record collections well shows.

I spend my days listening to whatever albums I’ve purchased during the week, reading some textbook or other on macroeconomics and drinking too much coffee. When not occupied with the above, I try to find time for friends, clubs, walks, politics and, of course, my wonderful girlfriend who amazingly puts up with my antics. When it come to musical tastes and preferences I would have to mention, keeping it short, VNV Nation, Grendel, the Strand, Kent, Autour de Lucie, Noir Desir, Primitive Radio Gods, Popsicle, E-craft and La Brigade.

I spend most of my time in front of the computer, doing whatever you can do with it. In my case mostly music, and mostly at night, lately I have become as nocturnal as a giant squid, or as a bat if I would like this to be a bit more gothic. Currently studying in the Information Systems Analysis Programme at the University of Linköping and I really enjoy it. It gives me time to do other stuff, such as working with the only electronic music club in Linköping, Nuclear Nation. According to my record collection my favourite band is Iron Maiden, but that isn’t true anymore, I went on to discover new territories at about the same time as Bruce Dickinson. Nowadays the favourite band is Nine Inch Nails, followed by Front Line Assembly, Saft, Cat Rapes Dog, and about 300 other artists.

Who am I? Hardest question yet I must say. Operating out of Stockholm and spending most of my spare time in front of the computer when I’m not working or studying, comes first to mind. Music wise you could say I concentrate on what people would call the harder and/or darker side of electronics while in my eyes it’s just music I like. It all started with Industrial and grew over the years to include other forms of electronic music such as Synth, EBM, Power Electronics, and Noise including all the different subcategories. A few favourites of mine: Klinik, Nitzer Ebb, X-fusion, Combichrist, Brighter Death Now, Black Lung, Iszoloscope, Reaper, Merzbow, Whitehouse, Raison D'etre, Aube, Arzt+Pfusch, Death in June, Imminent, Somatic Responses, Amduscia, Dulce Liquido, Soman, Sonar, God module, Juno Reactor, Arcana, Arditi, Puissance, Boyd Rice, Xotox. DAF, GGFH, Diamanda Galás, Government Alpha, Hypnoskull, Pneumatic Detach, Kirilian Camera, Converter, Noisex, Sophia, B-ton-K, Wumpscut, Sopor Aeternus etc.

I was 100% into techno and breakbeat at age 10, and my favourites at
that time were The Prodigy, LA Style, U96 ("Das Boot"-era), The
Overlords, and similiar bands. I then discovered the elitist ravescene here in Sweden, and began hanging out there for a while, enjoying Cari Lekebusch, Thomas Krome, Marco Carola, etc. Then I finally turned to EBM, dark electro and industrial.
I started composing music when I was 6-7 years old with Amiga 500 and
Master Sound Tracker, and has kept doing so ever since, although my equipment has been upgraded. My current music projects are Terror Punk Syndicate, Black Chaos Law Code and a synthpop-band called Kokaine Kitty.
I enjoy pretty much the same artists everyone else does, but I'm also a big fan of heavy metal, and I love the idea of combining guitars with electronics, so some unexpected favourites of mine are more or less forgotten bands like Mussolini Headkick, Swamp Terrorists or the album "Cyberpunk" by Billy Idol, but also Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, and similiar more well-known bands.

When I'm not busy studying history or religion, I'm often busy thinking about these studies. The few times I'm not busy I listen to or create music, been a member of several bands, or read books. What I read ranges from Shakespeare to A. A. Milne, from Philip K. Dick to Douglas Adams, from de Beauvoir to Camus, from the Bhagavad-Gita to the Koran. My joys in life are music, chocolate and love, not always in that particular order. When it comes to music I try not to limit my taste to specific genres. Bands/artists I like are: Skinny Puppy, Coil, The Legendary Pink Dots, Killing Joke, Sort Sol, Siouxsie, The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Curve, Cranes, Suede, Placebo, Play Dead, Click Click, Klinik, Soft Cell, Mari Boine, Bob Hund, Radiohead, Suzanne Vega, Psyche, Portion Control, Die Form, Tool, Rage Against The Machine, Cocteau Twins, Bauhaus, March Violets, Chameleons, Severed Heads, Yazoo, Mortal Memories und so weiter et cetera et cetera.

During daytime I work as a computer teacher, otherwise I spend a lot of time listening to music, about everything from gothic metal to synthpop. Moonspell, Tarmvred, Hocico, Assemblage 23, Sophia and De/Vision are a few of my biggest favourites. Other things I like in life except for music would be to watch a few episodes of South Park or Futurama. I also enjoy a good evening at some club among friends.

Music has always been on my mind and in my ears Bands I can’t get tiered of are: Depeche Mode, Dead Can Dance, Nitzer Ebb, Skinny Puppy, Sisters of Mercy, Nine Inch Nails, The Neon Judgement and Front 242. But the most fulfilling feeling is to get surprised with a new sound. In this business it happens quite a lot actually.

Living on cookies, coffee, cigarettes and of course - music. The combination of health. At the moment I'm studying to be a sound technician, studying music theory on my own and creating music in an imaginary constellation. Favourite bands are Clan of Xymox, Corpus Delicti, New Model Army, Cranes, The Cure, My bloody Valentine, Miranda sex Garden, Suspiria, Dead can dance, Tiamat, Love like Blood, Weeping Willows, Smashing Pumpkins, Katatonia, Depeche Mode, Wumpscut, Skinny Puppy, etc, etc, etc...Reading books by authors such as Anthony Burgess, Neil Gaiman, Mare Kandre, Nietzsche, Poe & Lovecraft amongst others is also a big interest, as well as writing stuff by my own. When I'm not seen doing above mentioned activities I can often be seen at various goth- and synthclubs all over the country making a fool out of myself, climbing in lampposts or talking thick about nothing in particular in the influence of alcohol.

Love electronic music in most forms. I take one day at a time and enjoy life as it comes. Besides music I enjoy spending time with friends, long walks and console-games. I’m totally hooked in the Gameboy Advance, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Playstation 2 and Xbox world. Another huge time-taking thing in my life is making music. I love sitting by my analog synths and tweaking them.

I guess I'm sort of a stereotype "alternative girl": I spend my days sewing alternative clothes, modelling, listening to music, cuddle with my rats and going out on café’s and bars. Of course I have hair extensions and love make up. Besides that I read a lot, love seeing movies and spending time with my husband. No seriously: I do all the things above, but I’m not that stereotyped after all.
Music that most likely will be found in my CD-player: Skinny Puppy, Einstürzende Neubauten, Necromantix, Deadbolt, Imperiet, PJ Harvey, Death In June, Ministry, Swans, Nick Drake, Depeche Mode, Johnny Hollow, KMFDM, Das Ich, Alien Sex Fiend, New Model Army, Mazzy Star, Portishead, Massive Attack, Sisters Of Mercy, Laibach, Air, Kent, Stefan Sundström, Ralph Myerz & the Jack Herran Band and all sorts of jazz.

I should use my days studying History of thoughts and ideas at the university in Gothenbourg, where I live. Or perhaps making music. I don´t. Instead I usually watch The Simpsons on TV and perhaps takes a shower. I suppose I do something more, but I can´t figure out what that should be at the moment. Sometimes I listen to music. Mainly electronic stuff. EBM, electroclash and industrial. But also neofolk, new wave or anything good that comes in my way.

I wish I could say I listen to almost anything but I can't stand lying to you.
Once you dress in black you never go back. It's EBM, dark electro,
industrial, techno, gabber and electronica all the way. Got a problem
with that? Sue me.
Some current favourites are Plastic Noise Experience, Heimataerde,
Aesthetic Perfection, Panacea, Retractor and David Carretta.
When not immersing myself into the different aspects of music I do
graphic design, play computer games, fiddle with nerdy gadgets and
play with my puppy (as in a dog, silly).
Life is hard.
