This is a remix album containing tracks from as far back as 1989 and up until present day re-mixed by old friends and collaborators of Red Flag. Unfortunately the two best mixes are the first two, "Nevermind" re-mixed by Mark Nicholas of Cosmicity and "Cause and Consequence" re- mixed by Paul Robb of Information Society. The first one is really tasty! It sounds almost like Erasure on their danceable days which is great. It is a perfect dance track for party hungry teens and others of that mindset. The second one is a nice mix of synth pop and early Nine Inch Nails. Musically, it is pretty close to the ballads of Nine Inch Nails' "Pretty Hate Machine" with a nice chorus, distorted vocals and all. Nice laid back fell to that vibe.

When I say that it's unfortunate that these two are the first tracks on the CD I mean that at least one of them could have helped the CD if it was to be track five or eight. Don't get me wrong the other songs on this CD are ok it's just that they are a bit bland compared to these two. I'm especially disappointed with the mixes on "If I Ever", probably because it's my favourite Red Flag track of all time. The original version is danceable synth pop definitely in the same league as Human League, Boy Tronic and early Depeche Mode. The versions on this CD are just as much synth pop as the original one but they lack the power of the original version, it's edge. Well it's a nice CD with some nice synth pop worthy a band like Red Flag. Most are danceable others are not but still it is synth pop for all ages.
