Well, what can one say? This is a new album from Front Line Assembly, but there's really nothing about it that feels new. It feels as if you've heard it all before, as if Leeb has only re-arranged a handful of old songs, using old solutions to old problems. It sounds ok, but that's to be expected. It's the lack of imagination that really gets to me, making me almost angry. This may not be Front Line Assembly's worst album, but it's definitely their least original. There are songs where you can almost hear from which old Front Line Assembly song they have taken the bass line or the chorus, and that's not artistically correct, in my opinion. I just hope that now, when Bill Leeb's old band mate Nivek Ogre has rediscovered his Portion Control roots, so will Mr. Leeb on the album, that, perhaps, is to come. Until then, this album will be a sad reminder of what happens when an artist looses his inspiration.

GREASED WITH LOTION!!
(Thank God they didn't have that line on here! Epitaph is still awful, though.)
Their worst album.
Name: Jens (213.66.19.42) Rating: 3
The album sounds like a computergame. Maybe 12 year old kids, who like to play Quake find it interesting. I think "Everything Must Perish" is the only track worth listening to.
Their best album so far!

FLA is one of the few synthbands I have always loved. Still, they are one of my very favourites. They are one of few who has managed to develope their sound into an even better sound for each album released. This album is their best album so far. Beautiful but still with the complex and aggressive FLA sound. "Dead planet", "Backlash", "Epitaph" and "Everything must perish" NEED I SAY MORE?!
Fantastic FLA release!

i think these days it is a rite of passage or something to bash Leeb n' company.
everywhere i look, nothing but Leeb bashing...this is the best FLA album I've ever heard.
i hope they continue with FLA, i've heard rumors that epitaph may be their last...

I totally agree with you Magnus. This album is very disapointing. It sounds like FLA, but there's no spark. When I listened to it, each time it just felt as if it was an entire album of intro and no actual peak. I still listen to it cause it actually helps me to fall asleep (no really!).
Close to perfection!

Epitaph is absolutely one of the best FLA albums.
...at least in my opinion!
No idea

Hey Magnus Nilsson....you have no idea about music at all!!!
One of the better
Name: mikke (213.66.64.243) Rating: 8
I think its one of the better FLA releases actually. Almost as good as TNI/Implode/Caustic Grip..
Great FLA release
Name: Viktor (195.242.58.128) Rating: 8
I think 5 is a very low rating for this album. FLA has matured in their sound after so many releases, and with this album everything from their past years just blends up perfectly.
