When I think of Denmark and hard electronic music I think of legendary Arzt+Pfusch and Leaether Strip. And what a surprise! When I read in the bio, Der Doktor from Arzt+Pfusch is in this to me (until now) unknown band.
This is old-school electronics and quite harsh too. And as it says in the biography, this is for fans of Frontline Assembly, Leaether Strip and Skinny Puppy. The problem with some of the modern bands who wants to sound old-school is that they can't really catch the feeling of the sound of eighties but instead only make songs inspired by the eighties with modern sounds. Mommy Hurt My Head is another story as they really manage to capture the spirit of old-school and this record could just as well have been released in 1984.
Just like all Progress releases this record is also released with a bonus-CD full of remixes and signed by the band.
