So here's the new full length album from Swedish Dupont. It looks like their career is spinning off and I'm happy for them because the deserve it. For you who don't know Dupont I can best describe them as melodic and very dance friendly synth/EBM.
What hits me when I listen to this album is how the sound have changed since their previous work. Now it has a bit more originality in that way that it's a bit softer and with a more "dreamy" sound. Almost a bit psychedelic but only almost. I like this new sound. You just want to close your eyes and let your body move. I must point out though that this new sound of Dupont is from song to song as some of the songs are as old school as it gets. A very nice blend of new and old school.
This record is also available in a double-CD limited edition with a whole extra CD filled with remixes and old demo songs. This shouldn't be missed.
