This is the 4th CD from this very productive band that was founded in 2005. Up until recently on Cold Meat Industry this Luxembourgish act released the first full length album on new label Trisol Music. I don't know the reason for the change of label but it seems that there's a small change music-wise as well. Martial and industrial sounds that are heard on earlier albums are well toned down here and the arrangements are overall more acoustic. Still of course with great lyrics and the soothing voice of Jerome Reuter that makes Rome one of the greatest bands in the neofolk scene today.
Personally I like both "Nera" and "Masse Mensch Material", the albums I've heard before, a bit better. With that said, I still find a lot of great songs on this album with "The accidents of gesture" and "The secret sons of Europe" shining brightest.
