I don't know. This album has some pretty good songs on it, but for the life of me I can't get past the feeling that I'm listening to what Ministry would sound like if they had been castrated. It all comes down to production issues. If you're going for filthy, aggressive, anger-driven electro-rock, than what possible reason is there to give the whole thing a sound so clean and ... friendly?
There is, or should at any rate, be a lot of variety on this 14-track offering from this French outfit. But unless you pay attention, the shifts in tempo, emotional tone and instrumentation will just pass you by, and you'd swear you'd heard the same song 14 times over. Again, this indicates a less than fortunate choice in production.
It's all very frustrating. It could have been a good album. But it is mostly just so-so. Though you can't argue with a song called "Brain Bondage". That's a killer, right there. But that quality is sorely lacking in the rest of the record.
