It seems that we have a boom of new oldschool EBM groups popping up all around Europe, mostly in Germany and Sweden. This act is not new and this record is also not new but they are from Germany and they play minimalistic oldschool EBM.
I had the pleasure to see these two German guys play live a few weeks ago and they sure make the audience go nuts with their hard hitting EBM. This is their third record but the first one released by a record company and maybe that takes away that touch of underground that I liked so much from the two earlier releases and something I can't really find on "Muskeln & Küsse". It’s a bit sad but it's still a great record with some real dance floor hits on it like "Neue Republik". Another thing that hits me is that the tempo is turned down a bit from earlier releases.
If you get an opportunity to see Jäger 90 live then you shouldn't hesitate. Great fun.
