This limited edition minialbum from the big German band In Strict Confidence is packaged in a pleasant digipack. I hate the standard jewel case so this cheers me up.
The music is EBM of a more primitive type and without techno drums and sounds. There are eight tracks on "Zauberschloss" of which four are different mixes of the title track. The version by the very popular L'âme Immortelle is not especially good, which doesn't come as any surprise. The best version is "Zauberschloss (extended version)". There is also a "Stern (v2.0)" which doesn't reach as high as the original. The remix of "Weltuntergang" is good though. All original versions are available on the "Love Kills!" album. There are also a couple of new songs, which are ok, but nothing special.
To sum up, I would like to say that this is decent stuff. If you haven't got the "Love Kills!" album I would recommend that and if you haven't bought the side project Controlled Fusion's latest album "Patient Zero" I would definitely recommend that one instead.
