The band was formed in 2000 when dance pop / break-beat London based Seize decide that they wanted to do darker music. Compared to Seize it is a bit darker, but not compared to much of the dark electronic music around. I would call it more Electro pop / Future pop. They say themselves – “Tek-pop tunes for dancing humanoids” what that now is supposed to mean?

The music is good but the singing is not that good. Sometimes it sounds like the singer, Steve Young, is singing false or maybe it’s just badly produced. I don’t agree when they (themselves) compare Steves voice with Eskil Simonsson (Covenant) and Phil Oakey (Human League), they got far more developed voices then Steve Young. Thou, the album have some positive surprises like “Good for you”. It is a bit like the Prodigy sound – maybe that’s why I like it? Then there is “C.O.L”, which I consider to listen to more then once. But the end of the song sounds more like a bad 70’s TV-show. The very last track is with no doubt the best track – “Give me a girl”. I guess that that’s the name - because it’s not on the tracklist. This is a floor-filler and makes me want to put on the stroboscope and just dance.

Unfortunately, this sounds too amateur for me to like it and too poorly produced. Musically this album place it selves in the end of the 90:s or maybe the beginning of this century.
