Bodyfest 2012 - the line-up so far
One of Sweden's leading synth festivals, Bodyfest, has revealed the first names to Bodyfest 2012 which takes place at Nalen in Stockholm on the 13th of October. This is the third year the festival takes place and earlier years has seen Front 242, Pouppée Fabrikk (2010) and The Klinik, A Split Second (2011) amongst others.

Line up so far:

Vomito Negro, one of the classic Belgian EBM bands from the 80's with songs like “Feel the Heat, Shock”, “Baby needs crack” and “No Hope No Fear”, will take on Sweden for the first time in a very long time. The band awoke after a longer break with "Skull & Bones" from 2010 and the EP "Slave Nation" last year and they showed the world that they are more alive than ever. With a new album coming up later on this year we look forward to hearing the hard and intense EBM at Nalen's big stage.

Spetsnaz, Sweden's own EBM darlings, has become a really big name outside of Sweden. They started out in 2001 and were heavily involved in bringing back EBM as a popular genre after a dip in the mid nineties to the beginning of the new millennium. Rumour has it that a new album is in the making.

NordarR, the new project from Proceed singer André S, formed in 2008. These Germans play angry old school EBM and with their debut "Neues von Gestern" from 2010, they are one of the new interesting bands in the genre to look out for. They are visiting Sweden for the very first time.

Tickets are SEK 350 + adm. fee until June 1st. After that ticket price will rise when the final bands are presented.
